Heynen
Club which finished the league at the first place last year, now ended as ninth, with just point behind eight placed Effector Kielce. However, coach Vital Heynen said that he can only by proud of his players after tough battle in previous period:
“Can I be different than others and say that I am happy? We showed in recent weeks that we are a team. We fought until the last ball, until the end… We have done a lot since December. From a team which played really bad we turned into team which fighted for playoffs. Therefore, I applauded my players before the last game, and afterward… Despite the elimination. I am proud of them” – said Heynen and added that Polish Federation should consider that every game of the last round is scheduled for the same time.
