Asseco Resovia have scored another win in the men’s Polish volleyball elite league.
They defeated Indykpol AZD Olsztyn in straight sets 31-29, 25-22, 25-14.
Resovia’s trio Muzaj (12 points), Deroo (11 points) and Cebulj (11 points) pushed the team to the win even though the rival gave a huge resistance in the first two sets.
On the away side, Karol Butryn was the best scorer with 12 points while Torey DeFalco had 11 points.
GKS Katowice have also scored an important victory to keep the playoff position. They defeated Gdansk away in four sets 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-13, 26-24).
Tomas Rousseaux led Katowice to the win with 22 points. In Trefl Gdansk, Kewin Sasak scored 20 points.
In yesterday’s clashes in Plusliga, PGE Skra Belchatow and Zaksa recorded new victories.
