Yesterday, a surprise in Lublin, today a surprise in Olsztyn. Following a 3-2 win of LUK Lublin over the reigning champions Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle on Tuesday, Indykpol AZS Olsztyn down vice-champions, Jastrzębski Węgiel, today. Furthermore, Olsztyn beat both ZAKSA and Jastrzębski in a five-day span. Now, the winning series of the wards of Argentine expert Javier Weber consists of five matches. Thus, the change of the leader after the 17th round of PlusLiga has become a fact. Losing to Olsztyn, Jastrzębski won’t regain first place in the standings. After the 17th round, the leader will be Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, which the ’Hawks’ would overtake if they won.
