PGE Grot Budowlani Łódź stormed into the semifinals of the Tauron Liga after sweeping Metalkas Pałac Bydgoszcz 3-0 (24:26, 17:25, 13:25) in the second quarterfinal clash. Following their straight-sets victory in the first leg, the Łódź team sealed the best-of-three series with another dominant performance.
Paulina Damaske led the charge for Budowlani with 15 points, supported by Terry Enweonwu (12) and Sasa Planinsec (11). The winners showcased superiority at the net with a 13–5 edge in blocks and outclassed their rivals from the serve line (5–1 in aces). Damaske was named MVP.
Top scorers for Metalkas Pałac Bydgoszcz were Koleta Łyszkiewicz (12) and Svitlana Dorsman (10), but it wasn’t enough to counter Budowlani’s all-around dominance.
