In an impressive display of composure and power, Poland’s national women’s volleyball team swept Thailand 3-0 (25:22, 26:24, 25:22) in their opening match of the 2025 Volleyball Nations League, hosted in Beijing.

Top scorers for Poland included Martyna Czyrniańska (17 points), Magdalena Stysiak (15), and Martyna Łukasik (15). For Thailand, Pimpichaya Kokram led all scorers with 22 points.

Poland outperformed Thailand with 6 aces to none, 7 blocks to 1, and a stronger offensive presence—though they also committed more unforced errors.

In the third match played today as part of the first week of VNL 2025, tournament hosts China defeated Belgium 3-0 (25-18, 27-25, 25-13).
