Slovenia scored an important victory in its quest to claim a spot among the teams that will join the Final Round of the 2015 CEV Volleyball European Championship by edging Poland in the match that opened the second tournament of Pool A in Ljubljana (3:2; 20-25, 24-26, 27-25, 26-24, 15-11).

This way Slovenia cemented their second place in the Pool with six points with Poland still atop the charts with 10.
The FYROM Macedonia avenged their defeat from last week in Wroclaw cruising to a straight victory over Latvia in the other match of the day (31-29, 25-19, 25-17).
