The President of PlusLiga silver medalists stated for „Sportowe Fakty“ that the club stopped observing potential reinforcement, being satisfied with the transfer activity so far.
„We were able to accomplish all what we wanted in the transfer window. First of all, we maintained the most important players, which were fantastic last season. We brought a small number of reinforcements, which is consistent with the philosophy of our club. We are, therefore, very pleased,“ said Trefl’s chairman.
He admitted that Trefl targeted two American players but couldn’t finish their transfers – Thomas Jaeschke and Aaron Russell. The first went to Trefl’s rivals Asseco Resovia Rzeszów while the other moved to Italian Sir Safety Conad Perugia.
