Plusliga team hired Piotr Lipiński, a former player of Polish national team, who will replace injured Australian Harrison Peacock.

During his career, the veteran Lipiński took three consecutive national titles in Polish championship with Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle.

Last season, he was a member of AZS Politechnika Warszawska, but trained in Będzin practically from the beginning of the preparatory period, considering going abroad.

The Australian Peacock sustained injury during the World Cup in September and it is not known when he will be back on the court.
