“Our expectations for this season and campaign are very high as usual,” said head coach Andrzej Kowal. “We definitely want to achieve more than we have in the past. We want to make a step forward but I think that to repeat the results from last season will be already a success for us. Of course we will fight for more. We can’t underestimate anyone. We will be taking every game fully motivated and strongly believe in our strength.”
“This season we have a stronger team than last year. We want to win the Champions League. I can promise that we will leave our heart on the court and do everything for our amazing fans. I wish this season will be much better than the last one and I can promise a lot of emotions to our fans,” stressed team captain Aleh Akhrem.
Bartosz Kurek, who is one of the biggest Volleyball stars in Poland, said: “I am really happy to be here in Rzeszow. I can sense this great atmosphere and how important the club is for the city and the entire region. I can say the same as our captain: I will leave my heart on the court for our fans. I am ready to start a new campaign in the CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League.”
Asseco Resovia RZESZOW was drawn in Pool G together with # Dragons Lugano, Volley behappy2 ASSE-LENNIK and C.V.M. Tomis Constanta. Resovia will start their campaign on November 4 with a home match against Swiss champions # Dragons Lugano.
