Canadian teen sensation Sharone Vernon-Evans topped the winnings side with 13 points, while his teammate Antoine Brizard from France earned the MVP of the match award. Karol Butryn scored 22 points (4 aces) for Katowice.
With this win, Warszawa leveled with the second-placed PGE Skra Bełchatow in the number of points in the standings, both collecting 39 points, but with Skra having a better win-loss ratio.
