Warszawa, who have title aspirations this season, decided to tie two starters.
A 21-year-old outside Bartosz Kwolek will stay in the club from the Polish capital for two more seasons. He is considered one of the most promising male volleyball players in the country. He already has four gold medals in his account with youth categories of Poland national team: in 2015 CEV U19 European Championship (MVP), 2015 FIVB U19 World Championship (MVP), 2016 CEV U20 European Championship (Best OH), and 2017 FIVB U21 World Championship (Best OH). This season, Kwolek has already won 294 points, including 30 aces, while he made the biggest percentage in reception in October and December 2017. These numbers put him at No.3 in the best outside hitters’ list.
The other player the renewed his deal with Warszawa, also for two more seasons, is a 23-year-old Frenchman Antoine Brizard. The 2011 FIVB U19 World Championship Best Setter had a difficult task to replace legendary Paweł Zagumny in the club. In the ongoing season, Brizard became one of the best servers in Plus Liga with 29 aces. When it comes to this segment, February is already fruitful for him. Although still being a backup for Benjamin Toniutti, Brizard already started to collect gold medals with France national team as he was a part of the squad that conquered the 2017 FIVB World League.

Kwolek should play with the Senior Team this summer. But knowing how conservative the Polish are, they will go with the same line of Kubiak, Buszek,Kurek etc…which means Poland won`t be winning anything at all.
