Javier-Filardi
Javier Filardi, the former captain of Argentinean men’s volleyball giants UPCN San Juan Vóley Club, signed with the Cypriot titleholders Omonia for the rest of the season.
A 37-year-old veteran outside hitter recently parted with UPCN in an infamous way and will now fight for the national title in Cyprus with his new club. This will be the first international adventure on a club level of Filardi.
His first challenge with Omonia will be in the 2017/18 Cypriot championship OPAP playoff semifinals in which his club faces Nea Salamina, on February 9.
