Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov was the most deserving player in Zenit-Kazan for inflicting the first defeat to the team from the Russian capital, scoring 14 points. Romanas Shkulyavichus tallied 21 for Dinamo Moscow.
One more unbeaten streak came to an end in Round 6. Lokomotiv lost to Zenit Saint-Petersburg in the tie-break but remained at the top of the charts, having 5-1 and 15 points, which is one point more than the second-placed Dinamo Moscow. German Georg Grozer shone for Zenit Saint-Petersburg, who set up as much as 22 kill blocks (!), with 26 points.
