RUS W: Uralochka and Lokomotiv share top spot, Dinamo Moscow drop only 29 points in Belarus

Uralochka-NTMK and Lokomotiv lead the race for the title in the 2019/20 Russian Women’s Volleyball Championship after seven rounds.

After the seventh round of the 2019/20 Superliga Parimatch regular season, Uralochka-NTMK and Lokomotiv are tied at the top of the standings with 6-1 and 19 points. These two have even the same set-ratio of 20:4. Thanks to Kseniya Parubets (23 points) and Ekaterina Evdokimova (5 kill blocks), Uralochka downed Leningradka on the road by a 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 28-26).

The vice-champions Lokomotiv prevailed over Sakhalin at home in four sets to extend the winning streak to five games.

Titleholders Dinamo Moscow didn’t change their position in the charts (remained sixth with 3-4 and 11 points) but wrecked Minchanka, dropping only 29 points in the entire game! The team based in the Belarussian capital Minsk had a very poor attack of 20%, while as many as 12 Dinamo players scored at least one point.

Minchanka – Dinamo Moscow 0-3 (12-25, 7-25, 10-25)

Zarechie-Odintsovo – Proton 0-3 (24-26, 17-25, 21-25)

Lokomotiv – Sakhalin 3-1 (25-23, 25-17, 20-25, 25-17)
