The participants in the 2021/22 Russian Men’s Volleyball Championship, Gazprom-Yugra, are stronger for the quality middle blocker.

Before the start of the season in Russia, Gazprom-Yugra strengthened the squad with a high-quality middle blocker and also their old acquaintance. The Serbia National Team member Aleksandar Okolić joined the Surgut club. The 28-year-old player was already a member of Gazprom-Yugra, though briefly, a few years ago. Now he came from Greece’s Olympiacos S.F.P.

Okolić is the European champion in 2019, the winner of the FIVB World League in 2016, and the U19 world champion in 2011.
