The biggest drama of the night came from Krasnoyarsk, where Yenisei pulled off a stunning comeback against Zenit Saint Petersburg, winning 3–2 after trailing 0–2. A change at setter completely shifted Yenisei’s rhythm, their attack sharpened, defense tightened, and the home crowd pushed them through a nail-biting fourth set and a spirited 15–13 tie-break finish.
In Orenburg, Orenburzhe dominated Dynamo-Ural 3–0, controlling the match with steady serving and confident attacking, especially in the second set.
Meanwhile in Novy Urengoy, Fakel also produced a strong straight-sets victory over Yaroslavl (25–18, 25–19, 25–23), relying on solid reception and sharper play in key moments.
