Dinamo Moscow
Moscow side will face Busto Arsizio in the battle for the Final Four, while Piacenza has finished the European campaign for this season.
Dinamo had a flying start, and it really seemed that home side will win the opening set quite easily. It was 14:8, 16:11 and then even 22:13! But, Moscow side got relaxed too early and Piacenza punished that with 7:1 run for 23:20! However, away team missed a serve, while Jana Shcherban finished the set with a strong spike – 25:20. Dinamo was in front by 1-0 in sets.
Moscow team needed two sets to advance through to the next round, and Russians finished the job on the express way. The second set was close only until 10:9, but then Dinamo started dominating in every element. Very soon it was 12:9, then 15:10, while eventually home team escaped to 18:11. And they closed the set in style. Anastasia Markova made an ace for 25:16. Dinamo Moscow has qualified for the Playoffs 6!
In the last set home team totally outplayed its rival and secured a straight sets win.
