Krasnodar
One of the biggest favorites for the title in Russia will not play in the semi-finals! Dinamo Krasnodar has been eliminated from the competition, after losing the golden set in the rematch against Uralochka.
In the first game, Krasnodar won by 3-2, however Uralochka made a major upset and won the rematch after a thrilling tie-break! It was time for a golden set, and Uralochka outplayed the big favorite by 15:12!
This is the second major upset in the quarter-finals, after Zarechie managed to eliminate Omichka. On the other hand, Dinamo Moscow had no troubles against Saratov, and advanced through quite easily.
So, we have three participants of the semifinals so far – Zarechie, Dinamo Moscow and Uralochka.
