Before he announced new list, Alekno erased setter Alexander Butko while outside hitter/receiver Sergey Tetyukhin decided that he needed a rest.
Russian national team will play two away control matches against Germany, today and on October 4, in Bremen and Hamburg.
Alekno summoned 17 players for these two friendlies and he will choose 14 for Eurovolley among them:
Setters: Kovalev, Kobzar, Grankin; Opposite hitters: Mikhaylov (might play as outside hitter), Poletaev, Kruglov; Outside hitters/receives: Spiridonov, Ilinykh, Sivozhelez, Savin, Klyuka; Middle blockers: Muserskiy (might play as opposite), Volvich, Kurkaev, Vlasov; Liberos: Obmochaev, Verbov.
