Marichev emphasized that his team must be better on Sunday.
“It was a difficult game. We did not play good. I am especially dissatisfied with the way we were passing the ball. Still I have to praise our fighting spirit. My players fought for every ball and they made it to the finals. But, we will have to be much better on Sunday if we want to win the gold.”
When asked how will his team react when they see 10.000 people against them, head coach of Russia answered:
“It is a great thing for volleyball to see so many people on the stands. I just hope that there will be at least couple of Russian fans in the Arena tomorrow” smiled Marichev.
