The team from Krasnoyarsk won Cup of Siberia and Far East for the third time in their history. After beating Sakhalin in the final 3-0 (26-24, 25-13, 25-18), Yenisei lifted the trophy.
The Serbian player Sara Klisura was selected for the MVP. Her contribution to this trophy was huge. She is doing a great job for Yenisei in this season and her performances helped the team to climb on 5th place in Russian Superliga.
“We have left no chance to Sakhalin. I’m very happy, the girls gave 100%! I want to congratulate them and for winning this Cup. I think there is a lot of space to continue developing” says Goncharov, head coach of Yenisei.
Recall that Yenisey have become the owner of the Cup of Siberia in 2005 and 2012…
