As a part of the preparation for the Olympic Games, women’s volleyball teams of Russia and Serbia have played one friendly games.

After four sets Russia celebrated victory of 3:1 (25:16, 23:25, 25:18, 25:23) but Serbian receiver Brankica Mihajlović and opposite Tijana Bošković were the top scorers with 17 points while Nataliya Goncharova scored 16 points and Tatiana Kosheleva 12 for Russia.

SERBIA: Malesevic 3, Mihajlovic 17, Ognjenovic 1, Veljkovic 7, Rasic 8, Boskovic 17, Popovic (libero), Busa, Brakocevic 9, Zivkovic, Nikolic 2, Stevanovic 2. Coach: Zoran Terzic.

RUSSIA: Shcherban 10, Zaryazhko 5, Goncharova 16, Kosiannenko 1, Fetisova 8, Kosheleva 12, Malova (libero), Ezhova (libero), Malygina 4, Vetrova 1, Voronkova 4, Shlyakhovaya 4. Coach: Yuri Marichev.
