RUS M: No cause for panic in Zenit – León sidelined for two weeks only

Recent injury of one of the best volleyball players of the Russian and also European champions Zenit Kazan, Wilfredo León, does not fall into category of serious ones.

Director of Zenit stated for “R-Sport“ that Cuban receiver will be out for approximately two weeks due to an ankle injury.

León got injured two days ago in the match of the 10th round of the Russian Men’s Volleyball Championship against Dinamo Leningradskaya Oblast in which his team prevailed 3-0. Zenit Director added there are chances that club’s medical staff return León to the court even eralier than predicted.

Zenit have not lost a single game in Superliga so far and are sovereign leaders in the standings.
