RUS W: Russian Superleague got a new team from Kaliningrad

Just like last year when the men’s competition got new team Zenit SANKT PETERBURG, in 2018/2019 the women’s Russian championship will have a new one.

The new women’s team in Russia is Lokomotiv Kaliningrad and that information officially was announced two days ago.

The team will directly start from Superleague and they already have some big names: Bojana Živković (setter), Yulia Podskalnaya (blocker), Ekaterina Orlova (blocker), Tatiana Shchukina (blocker), Irina Voronkova (attacker), Yulia Kutykova (attacker), the Cuban opposite Ana Yillian Cleger Abel and libero Alla Galkina. Coach of this new team is Andrei Voronkov.
