RUS M: Enisey hire 2012 Olympics winner Ilinykh and Australia NT opposite Carroll

The Russian men’s Superliga volleyball side Enisey Krasnoyarsk hired former Russia national team member Dmitriy Ilinykh and Australian opposite Paul Carroll.

Dmitriy Ilinykh, the 2012 London Olympics champion with “Zbornaya”, strengthened Enisey Krasnoyarsk, coming from Kuzbass Kemerovo.

A 31-year-old outside hitter arrived in Superliga side with several gold medals with the national team on his account. Besides the 2012 London Olympics, Ilinykh won the 2011 FIVB World League, and 2013 CEV European Championship, while on a club level he triumphed in Superliga with Belogorie Belgorod in 2013.

Another big hit of Enisey in the summer transfer window is Australia national team opposite Paul Carroll. A 31-year-old player came from Berlin Recycling Volleys with whom he won Bundesliga three times in a row and CEV Cup in 2016.
