The Polish men’s volleyball club Trefl Gdańsk found themselves the starting setter for the 2018/19.

A 23-year-old Marcin Janusz signed a two-year deal with Trefl Gdańsk, coming from the country’s titleholders PGE Skra Bełchatów in which he spent the last three seasons.

Janusz acted as a backup setter to Grzegorz Łomacz last season, but when he got injured before Polish cup Final Four, Janusz stepped in and was named Best Setter of the tournament.

Trefl also announced hiring Serbian outside hitter Nikola Mijailović. A 28-year-old player has worn the jersey of Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 Haute-Marne last season and won the French Super cup. He signed a one-year contract with the Plus Liga club.
