SRB W: Zoran Terzić announced Serbian squad for Grand Prix

Coach of Serbia Zoran Terzić, gave names of 16 players for World Grand Prix competition this year.

In the next stage of preparation for the tournament, Serbia – champions of Europe in 2011 – will choose Slovenian city of Kranjska Gora as the camp, where they will be until the start of the group stage.

Several players are ruled out of WGP because of an injury. Back injury caught a setter, Danica Radenković, while Ivana Đerisilo didn’t make a full recovery, although she was on a training camp from the beginning.

National team of Serbia for the World Grand Prix 2013:

Setters: Maja Ognjenović, Bojana Živković,

Opposite: Jovana Brakočević, Ana Bjelica,

Middle blockers: Nataša Krsmanović, Stefana Veljković, Milena Rašić, Nađa Ninković,

Receivers: Brankica Mihajlović, Jelena Nikolic, Brižitka Molnar, Sanja Malagurski, Tijana Malešević,

Libero: Suzana Ćebić, Silvija Popović, Jasna Majstrović.

Serbians will begin the tournament in the Dominican Republic, where, in addition to host they will play with Puerto Rico and the Czech Republic.

In the second weekend of the competition players led by Terzić will perform in Belgrade, and the opponents will be the United States, the Netherlands and Algeria.

Last weekend Serbians will meet with Chinese, Argentinian and Polish women.
