He confirmed this in a statement for Serbian media:
“One thing is certain, I’m not going back to Russia. It was enough. I think that because of a back injury I did not leave the impression that I was expecting. Also I will not play in Italy, although there has been an option to sign for Perugia until recently. At the moment there are two serious offers – one from Poland and one from Turkey, so I’ll probably play in some of these countries. I have not decided yet.” said Nikić.
