It all looked like Russia would score an easy win against Bulgaria, as the boys coached by Sergey Shlyapnikov had a 2-0 lead in this game. However, then Tsvetan Sokolov and his crew changed the match completely.

With Lube star player on fire, Bulgaria won the following three sets and clinched a tie-break win! And, it was Sokolov, of course, who scored the last point. He finished the match with 21 points.

At the same time, Serbia prevailed over Canada and therefore got back on the winning track just one day after that unexpected defeat against Belgium.

Marko Ivović with 16 points and Aleksandar Atanasijević with 15 were the top scorers in the winning team.
