After sweeping Peru and Venezuela, respectively, Colombia and Argentina finished the 2nd day of the tournament victoriously.
Led by Amanda Coneo (15 points) and by the 19-year-old Valerin Carabali (5 kill blocks), and again in front of the packed stands painted in yellow at the Coliseo El Salitre (7,000 fans), the home side of Colombia gave no chance to Peru: 3-0 (25-23, 25-12, 25-12).
Given that Argentina also dominated their 2nd round match (3-0 vs. Venezuela), both Colombia and the “Las Panteras“ have a perfect score, 6 points and no sets lost. Thus, the mutual encounter between the 2 undefeated sides, tomorrow, will reveal the name of the team that will compete in the Tokyo Olympics from the South American Qualification Tournament.
