Sada Cruzeiro has done it again! The Brazilian volleyball giants secured their 11th South American Club Championship title in an electrifying final against host team Praia Clube at the Arena UTC in Uberlândia. The match went down to the wire, ending in a dramatic five-set showdown (26-28, 25-16, 19-25, 32-30, 18-16).
Praia Clube came out strong, backed by their home crowd, and put up a fierce fight. But Sada Cruzeiro, known for their experience and resilience, turned the game around, forcing a tie-break and edging out their opponents in one of the most thrilling sets of the tournament.
This victory cements Sada Cruzeiro as the most successful club in the competition’s history, having won eight consecutive titles and eleven in total since their first in 2012.
