The Serie A1 Tigotà Playoff quarterfinals brought some excitement and drama, with Conegliano, Milano, and Scandicci securing their spots in the Semifinals, while Chieri kept their championship dreams alive by pushing Novara to a decisive Game 3.
In Bergamo, Conegliano showed their dominance once again, cruising to a 3-0 victory and comfortably booking their place in the next round. But it wasn’t as easy for Milano and Scandicci, both of whom had to battle through intense tie-break thrillers against Vallefoglia and Busto Arsizio, respectively, to move forward.
Meanwhile, Chieri refused to go down without a fight. After five consecutive losses, they bounced back in spectacular fashion, sweeping Novara 3-0 in front of their home crowd. Now, the two teams will settle the score in a decisive Game 3 on March 19 at 20:30 CET to determine who moves on.
The top eight teams from the Regular Season have qualified for the AI Scudetto Playoffs. The quarterfinals will be played in a best-of-three format, with the team winning two out of three games advancing. The semifinals and the Final will follow a best-of-five format, where the first team to win three out of five games will move forward or claim the title.
The Semifinals are set to begin on March 22, with Conegliano awaiting the winner of Novara vs. Chieri, while Milano and Scandicci prepare for their clash on March 23.
