Argentina’s Las Panteras swept past Peru 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-19). Bianca Cugno led Argentina with 19 points, while Ángela Leyva stood out for Peru with 10.
Later, host nation Brazil’s U23 squad lit up the arena with a commanding 3-0 win over Venezuela (25-12, 25-16, 27-25). Ana Rudiger delivered a standout performance with 16 points, holding off a late Venezuelan rally sparked by Vivas Requena’s 11-point effort.
