Argentina and Peru came out swinging on the second day of the Copa América Femenina, grabbing well-deserved wins in front of an energetic Betim crowd.
Argentina swept past Chile in straight sets, with Bianca Cugno leading the scoreboard once again. A solid team effort from Las Panteras made it look easy.
Later, Peru stunned the hosts with a gutsy 3-1 win over Brazil. After losing the first set and seeing a key Brazilian player injured, Peru stayed focused, rallied back, and took control—securing their first victory of the tournament in style.
