Eczacıbaşı confirmed rumors and reached an agreement with the middle player of the U.S. Women, Ogbogu, for the next season.
The 25-year-old player, a member of her country’s national team since 2018, spent the last season in Italy’s Imoco Volley Conegliano with whom she claimed the FIVB Club World Championship, the national cup, and Supercup. As a part of the U.S. Women, Ogbogu won the FIVB Volleyball Nations League twice.
At the same time, the Istanbul team parted ways with the setter Gamze Kılıç.
Yesterday, Eczacıbaşı hired one more American player.
