The newcomers to the Turkish women’s volleyball Championship, Kale 1957 Spor, engaged a duo of the Brazil National Team players.

The two Brazil National Team members strengthened the Turkish Championship newcomers Kale. The 26-year-old opposite hitter Ana Paula Borgo and 29-year-old outside hitter Ellen Braga will set off their first club adventure abroad. Ana Paula spent the last season at Fluminense F.C, while Ellen played for Osasco/Audax.

However, what stands in the way of Kale to officialize these transfers is the problem with the managerial agency representing Ellen. Namely, it turned out that its affiliate company doesn’t possess the FIVB license, meaning that the club from Çanakkale might receive penalties by the volleyball’s world governing body as well by the Turkish federation (TVF) because of working with unlicensed managers. Kale are working to resolve the issue in order to secure such two valuable signings.

Ana Paula established herself as a regular member of the Brazil National Team, taking part in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League and International Olympic Qualifier. As for Ellen, she mostly competed for the Brazil “B“ Team.
