Reducing mistakes in relation to the first semifinal duel of the 2019/20 Volley League Pame Stoixima playoffs, Panathinaikos managed to beat PAOK with a 3-0, tying the series at 1-1. The qualification to the final will be determined in the third and last match of the series, on Sunday, July 5. All matches, including those between the other two semifinalists, are played in the OAKA hall in Athens.

What might be a problem for PAOK in a decider is the potential absence of their outside hitter Sotiris Sotiriou, who got injured in the second set. Alexandros Raptis top-scored for Panathinaikos with 15 points, while Brazilian Lucas Victor Rangel made 5 kill blocks. Alexandros Boutos tallied 12 points for PAOK.
