Fenerbahçe suffered a first defeat in three months. During that period, they won 15 successive games in the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season. That streak came to an end in a delayed match of the 16th round against Ziraat.

The Ankara side prevailed in straight sets (3-0: 25-22, 31-29, 25-16), mostly thanks to the Dutchman Wouter Ter Maat (24 points; 4 aces; 70 % attack), and extended their own winning streak to 11 games.

Spor Toto (Brazilian Leonardo Nascimento ‘Leozinho’ 22 points) prolonged their series of wins to five games after beating Tokat Bld. Plevne in five sets in a delayed match of the 6th round.
