Galatasaray HDI Sigorta prevailed over Spor Toto in the big match of the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Championship.

In a delayed match of Round 13 of the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season, Galatasaray bounced back from 1-2 in sets against Spor Toto and became the vice-leaders in the charts: 3-2 (25-13, 23-25, 13-25, 25-18, 16-14). Puerto Rican Maurice Torres (26 points, including 6 aces) and Burutay Subaşı (21 points, including 6 aces; 70 % attack) led the Istanbul side to the 9th successive win in the competition. Galatasaray are now just 2 points behind the leaders Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta (50 vs 48).

Ziraat Bankkart recorded the 13th victory in a row and settled at fourth place in the standings. Thanks to the Dutchman Wouter Ter Maat (19 points) and his compatriot Maarten van Garderen (16 points; 71 % attack), they swept Tokat Belediye Plevne.

Led by Moldovan Dmitrii Bahov (15 points; 71 % reception), İnegöl Bld. beat Bursa B.şehir Bld. in a delayed match of Round 18 in straight sets and extended their winning streak to 5 games.
