Ziraat Bankkart recorded the 14th successive win in the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season. Having that in mind, it’s pretty strange they aren’t ranked higher in the charts than now, which is 4th place. They swept Bursa B.şehir Bld. in Round 24 with 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-14). Bulgarian Martin Atanasov tallied 18 points (75 % attack) for the Ankara side, while Dutchman Maarten van Garderen had 80 % reception (10 digs, 50 % perfect).

Galatasaray HDI Sigorta extended their own winning series to 10 games. Beating Sorgun Bld. in the tie-break pushed them to the vice leader’s position in the standings. Puerto Rican Maurice Torres scored 28 points for ‘The Lions’, while Burutay Subaşı served 6 aces.
