
After a brief period in Bulgaria, Matey Kaziyski has officially joined Halkbank Ankara, one of Turkey’s volleyball powerhouses. The club confirmed the signing, announcing:
“As we continue our preparations for the new season, our club has reached an agreement with Bulgarian outside hitter Matey Kaziyski.”
Kaziyski previously played for Halkbank during the 2013–2014 season, leading the team to triumph in the Turkish League, Turkish Cup, and Super Cup. Now, 11 years later, the Bulgarian star returns to Ankara, reigniting memories of his golden era with the club.
A true legend of the volleyball, Kaziyski represented top European teams and achieved success in major competitions such as the CEV Champions League and the FIVB Club World Championship.
