The first semifinal match was completely one-sided as VakifBank downed Bursa in straight-sets. Milena Rašić was the top scorer in the winning side with 16 points, while Zhu Ting and Gozde Kirdar Sonsirma made 13 points each. In Bursa, Joyce Da Silva scored 15 points.
The second semifinal game was much more exciting. It was the clash of the two teams which are definitely one of the best in whole Europe – Eczacibasi VitrA vs. Fenerbahce.
Eczacibasi VitrA won the opening set, but then Fenerbahce answered back. With simply outstanding Kim Yeon-Koung on their side, the Yellow Angels won the following 3 sets and defeated their big rivals by 3-1! Kim made 25 points for Fenerbahce, while the top scorer in Eczacibasi was Tatiana Kosheleva with 20 points.
The big finals of the Turkish Cup will be played on Tuesday, at 17:00 CET.
