A judge in Puerto Rico has found there is not enough evidence to charge a former U.S. Olympic volleyball player Kim Willoughby for the death of her young daughter in 2016.

In 2016 police had said that Willoughby told them that her 3-year-old daughter slipped in the shower and died after hitting her head. They didn’t believe her, so police had accused Kim of murder and child abuse in the case.

The trial lasted until this year and a judge said that there is not enough evidence to charge her.

Willoughby had played in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and won a silver medal. She later played in Puerto Rico for Indias de Mayagüez.
