Belogorie
After suffering defeat in the first round against Zenit, Belogorie have managed to recover and to record first three points.
They downed Nova, newcomer in the Russian elite league, in three sets 25-22, 28-26, 25-22! It was not an easy match of the team from Belgorod. Nova gave strong resistance, especially in the second set, when they were very close to tie the score in sets.
Belogorie set up control and after taking the second set, they clinched the third as well for the win 3-0!
Dmitry Muserskiy was the top scorer of the match with 24 points while Roman Danilov added 17. In home team, Vladimir Yakimov had 18 points.
