Savino Del Bene Volley has confirmed a new addition to their roster for the upcoming season: Linda Nkiruka Nwakalor.
Nwakalor has an impressive record. In her last season, she played in 25 Serie A1 matches, scoring 177 points, delivering 67 winning blocks, and making 12 aces in 92 sets while wearing the Bartoccini Fortinfissi Perugia jersey.
In 2017, Nwakalor joined Club Italia. She had her Serie A1 debut in the 2018-2019 season and spent the next two seasons participating in the Serie A2 championship with the same team.
In the 2021-2022 season, Nwakalor moved to Bartoccini Fortinfissi Perugia. Her outstanding performance in the youth national team stages led to her winning two European Championships and a World Championship.
In 2022, she received her first call-up to the senior national team and immediately won a gold medal at the XIX Mediterranean Games. After the 2022-2023 season with Perugia, Nwakalor has now agreed to play for Savino Del Bene Volley in the next sports season.
