As we wrote earlier about the possibility of Fenoglio taking over the helm of the Polish team, now we have an official confirmation! Grupa Azoty Chemik Police has announced the signing of Italian expert Marco Fenoglio as the new coach of the team. Originating from Cuneo, Fenoglio was the coach of the Greek powerhouse PAOK for the last two seasons.

Fenoglio’s coaching accolades are notable. In Bergamo, he clinched the Women’s Champions League title, the Italian championship, and the Italian Cup. Additionally, under his leadership, Novara celebrated another Italian championship victory.

Beginning his coaching journey alongside prominent figures like Emanuele Zanini and Andrea Anastasi, Fenoglio initially served as a fitness coach. His dedication saw him rise through the ranks, ultimately heading a Serie A club in 2005.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Fenoglio remarked, “Signing with Chemik is a privilege. Recognizing the club’s stature, I’m geared up for the challenges ahead. Our initial focus will be on fitness, and later transitioning to technique and tactics. Through hard work and determination, success will follow.”
