Eczacıbaşı Dynavit announced the extension of Ferhat Akbaş’s tenure as head coach for another three years.
Since taking the helm in the 2021-2022 season, Akbaş has led the team to impressive achievements including a CEV Cup victory, a third-place finish at the FIVB World Club Championships, two runner-up positions in the Turkish League, a second-place in the CEV Champions League, and a title at the FIVB World Club Championships.
Expressing his thoughts, Ferhat Akbaş shared his pride in carrying the values of Eczacıbaşı Sports Club. “I am very happy to be a part of this great family for the past three seasons. I highly value and embrace the club’s principles. I am very hopeful about the future and will work tirelessly for more great victories together,” he stated.
As Eczacıbaşı Dynavit continues to structure its team for the 2024-2025 season, they will retain Sinead Jack-Kısal, Jovana Stevanovic, and Canadian National Team captain Alexa Gray.
Furthermore, the club welcomed Italian opposite Anna Nicoletti, expressing excitement about adding a proven talent to their squad. “We are thrilled to have a player of her caliber join us. Her contributions will be vital for the upcoming season,” said a club spokesperson.
Nicoletti shared her enthusiasm about joining Eczacıbaşı Dynavit. “I am honored to be part of this prestigious club and excited to compete at such a high level. I am eager to see what the season brings and to fight for our goals,” she remarked.
