Japanese star Ran Takahashi has been unveiled as the newest signing of Bogdanka LUK Lublin ahead of the 2026/27 season.

One of the most recognizable figures in volleyball, the 25-year-old outside hitter arrives in Poland after successful spells in both Japan and Italy.
His international achievements include two Volleyball Nations League podium finishes, an Asian Championship title, and a silver medal at the World Cup. At club level, he won domestic honors in Japan and lifted the CEV Challenge Cup during his time in Europe.
“Ran will add even greater versatility to our team,” said Bogdanka LUK Lublin president Krzysztof Skubiszewski. “His quality on both sides of the ball will help us pursue ambitious goals, while his global popularity will further strengthen the club’s international reach.”
Takahashi previously represented Nippon Sport Science University, Pallavolo Padova, Mint Vero Volley Monza, and Suntory Sunbirds. His arrival marks one of the most high-profile transfers in the history of the Polish club.
