The Italian coach led Milano to the 2025 Fineco Supercoppa title, the first domestic trophy in the history of the women’s team, and will continue to oversee the club’s long-term project while integrating a new generation of talent.

“I’m very happy to begin my third season in Milan,” Lavarini said. “Continuity is an important value in sport, and I’m proud to continue the work we’ve built over the past two years. We’ve made significant progress, but every season brings new challenges and the need to prove ourselves again.”

Lavarini said his focus will be on building a united, competitive squad capable of challenging on all fronts through consistency, commitment and teamwork.

Before returning to Milano for preseason preparations, Lavarini will coach Poland at the European Championship in August. He also thanked the club’s supporters for their continued backing, saying he looks forward to reuniting with the players and fans ahead of the new campaign.
