Ivan Zaytsev’s time with Vero Volley Monza is coming to an end. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian volleyball star will play his final match with the club tomorrow against Civitanova in the Italian SuperLega 2024/2025 season. Zaytsev, who joined Monza after a successful summer in beach volleyball, was seen as a key signing for the team. However, despite his personal contributions, Monza’s struggles in the league—currently sitting last with only three wins—led to a decision for Zaytsev to leave. After a season of mixed results, Zaytsev will join Galatasaray in Turkey. The move comes after unsuccessful negotiations for an extension with Monza.
